The world as we know it is changing — The NACAS Foundation is changing along with it. Historically, most of our fundraising events were held in person. Enter COVID-19. We believe the work of the Foundation is more important now than ever before. As students return to campus, they face a whole new level of uncertainty. Will they have access to safe and clean housing? Will they be able to afford groceries and toiletries? Research shows that these financial challenges are not new, but they are certainly heightened by the pandemic.
The NACASCARES Annual Giving Campaign includes several virtual fundraising events that support the mission of the NACAS Foundation: To position auxiliary professionals, the higher education market, and students for success. Donate today to support new industry initiatives, including the Campus Care Grant, virtual education experiences, and awards & scholarships.
The NACASCARES Give-Back Day will be held on August 3, 2020. The NACAS Foundation Board will be meeting virtually to do a fundraising blitz on social media, encouraging all members and business partners to donate. Any small amount (even $5 or $10) will help us reach our goal!
In addition, throughout the month of July leading up to our Give-Back Day, you will hear directly from donors about the value of giving and how the Foundation supports affordability and student success in higher education.
Are you an avid runner? More of a light jogger? Totally into easy afternoon walks? If so, the NACASCARES Run/Walk, sponsored by Pitney Bowes, is the perfect way to raise money for the NACAS Foundation while achieving your fitness goals. Participate in this virtual run to help the NACAS Foundation support grants and scholarships, professional development programs, and industry research initiatives.
Registration Fee: $50 per person*
Fundraising Goal: One great thing about this virtual fundraiser is that you can share your story on social media and ask your friends, family, and colleagues to either join you or sponsor your run! We recommend setting an individual fundraising goal of $150, but every little bit counts.
* Multiple registration types available. Click on the link below to learn more about team information and reduced fees.
