South CX - FAQ
What happens to my South CX 2020 registration?
NACAS South will apply your registration funds to the new conference registration. We understand that many of you are on longer travel bans from your institutions, so if you require a full refund you must cancel your registration by April 8. Following April 8, the registration will be automatically rolled over to the new event and subject to regular terms and conditions.
How do I request a refund for South CX 2020?
Requests for cancellations and refunds must be submitted by April 8 via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow up to 8 weeks for your refund to be processed.
What if I canceled my registration previously?
If you had previously canceled your registration, NACAS will be in touch with you on whether you would like to receive a full refund of the registration fee or if you would like to reinstate your registration for the new dates. Please allow up to 8 weeks for your refund to be processed.
What should I do if I reserved a hotel with my CX registration?
If you booked a room at the Hyatt Regency Dallas you will receive instructions on how to rebook a room for the new conference dates. If you booked at another hotel you will need to contact that hotel to cancel and will be subject to their cancellation policy.
If I have already booked my travel, how do I get refunds for these tickets or fees?
We recommend you reach out to your airline/transportation provider to cancel or rebook. Many airlines are offering flexible cancellation and rebooking policies at this time.
As a business partner, what happens to my Expo booth?
Your booth will be automatically transferred to the new conference dates. Donna Morris-Powell, NACAS South Vice President, will reach out to all business partners to reconfirm booth space and send any pertinent information related to the new conference dates. If you need to cancel your booth due to the new conference dates, please email Donna at email@example.com by April 8, 2020.
If I was selected to present, will my session be moved to the new CX date automatically?
Yes, your session will be automatically moved to the new CX dates. Rick Torres, NACAS South Professional Development Coordinator, will be reaching out to all speakers in the coming week to confirm availability to present over the new dates.
