Message from the NACAS West President

West CX 2020 - Postponed to Next Year

Dear NACAS West Members,

In conjunction with the NACAS Office, NACAS West has been actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. Your safety and well-being is our top priority when planning any of our events.

Due to a number of developments related to the COVID-19 outbreak, including the World Health Organization declaring the outbreak a pandemic, the host location prohibiting gatherings of our size over the event dates, the closing of the USA and Canadian Border, and the institution of travel bans applicable to many college employees, the NACAS West CX conference scheduled for May 31- June 2, 2020, in Vancouver, BC has been postponed.

While we are saddened that we will not be able to gather in person in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia this year, we are excited that we will be able to take advantage of all that UBC and Vancouver have to offer in 2021. In the coming weeks, you will receive information on our refund process, including how to move your registration to the 2021 conference or receive a full refund. We will also be reaching out for updates on adjusting hotel rooms and to our educational session speakers.

On behalf of the NACAS West Board of Directors and the NACAS staff, we hope that you are staying safe and healthy during these unsettling times. We know that as an association we will continue to do what is best for serving our students and campuses and together we will celebrate our accomplishments in Vancouver next year.
