Welcome to NACAS Central
On behalf of the NACAS Central 2022-2022 Board of Directors, I would like to express our welcome and appreciation for your interest and support in NACAS Central. Whether you are a current member, prospective member, or a valued business partner, we look forward to strengthening our relationship with you and encourage you to engage with NACAS.
It is my privilege to serve as your 2021-2022 President. Auxiliary Services will continue to be a vital part of campus life to enhance the student experience and support the academic mission of our institutions. Thank you for all your extremely hard, creative, and dedicated work to support the students at each of our campuses as well as to our campus communities during these extraordinarily challenging times.
As a 12-state region, Central offers extended, accessible, and regionally relevant value to our members through a suite of programs designed to foster professional development, facilitate a cherished network of colleagues and cultivate collaboration.
On behalf of the NACAS Central Board of Directors, I would like to encourage you to take some time to explore the NACAS.org site to learn about our national and regional programs, services, available resources, and volunteer opportunities. I urge you to get involved by attending a webinar, applying for grants and scholarships, or writing an article for the NACAS College Services Magazine, and please connect with a Central Board member if you are interested in being more involved in our association.
In addition, NACAS offers its members an opportunity to demonstrate their expertise by becoming a Certified Auxiliary Services Professional. NACAS Central offers scholarships that can cover the cost of the exam.
The NACAS Foundation was formed for the sole purpose of supporting and promoting the auxiliary services profession. The Foundation engages our members in scholarships, grants, promoting diversity of people and ideas, fostering innovation, collaboration, and creative thinking to improve the quality of life for students. Please visit the NACAS Foundation website for more details and how you can become involved.
The NACAS Central Board of Directors and I look forward to working with you at an upcoming event, especially the 2022 Central CX Regional Conference and the C3X either virtually or in person. CX and C3X details to be announced as soon as possible.
