The NACAS Foundation, a non-profit corporation that promotes the auxiliary services profession through NACAS, announced today...
Welcome to NACAS Central
Welcome and thanks for taking the time to visit our website. I am honored to serve as the 2018-2019 President. It’s great to be a part of an organization whose name also speaks to the important work that we do. While, the name “auxiliary” seems to suggest that who we are and what we do is something extra, we know that the role we play in campus life and student engagement is central to the mission of the campuses we serve, as well as the success of our students.
NACAS Central is committed to enhancing the auxiliary profession through the education and professional development of its Central region members. Take this opportunity to learn more about us and the amazing things that are happening on the campuses in our twelve state region.
We are also investing in the future of the region and its members. We have recently established an endowment with the NACAS Foundation that will provide scholarships to members of the region seeking to enhance their professional development by attending the C3X Annual Conference and Expo. This effort is in addition to the ongoing support that we provide for members interested in obtaining CASP certification and other professional development opportunities. You may view all these opportunities here.
The NACAS Central 2018-2019 Board of Directors would like to encourage you to become actively involved in our organization, whether as an institutional member or as a business partner. Please consider participating on a committee or volunteering to help with a conference. If you have an innovative service on your campus that you would like to showcase, or if you would be interested in potentially hosting a drive-in workshop on your campus, we are always seeking opportunities to collaborate. The true strength of our region is its members, so I encourage you to join us as we grow together.
If any of our board members can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact them or simply post a message in the NACAS Community directed to the Central region.
I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event — especially the 2019 Central/West Annual Regional Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
All the best,
J. Rex Tolliver
