A Message from the President

Greetings, NACAS South Family!

It is a profound honor and a privilege to serve as your President for the upcoming year. Having been a member of this region for 21 years, I have seen firsthand the incredible dedication, innovation, and resilience that define our members. Whether you are a seasoned professional or new to the world of auxiliary services, you are what makes NACAS South the most vibrant and supportive region in our association.

Our Path Forward

As we look toward the next year, my goal is to build upon the strong foundation laid by my predecessors. Our industry is constantly evolving—from navigating new dining technologies to reimagining student housing and campus retail. Together, we will focus on four key pillars:

  • Connection: Strengthening the bonds between our member institutions to ensure no one is "reinventing the wheel" alone.
  • Professional Excellence: Providing high-impact educational resources and webinars that address the unique challenges of the Southern region.
  • Mentorship: Investing in our mid-level and entry-level professionals to cultivate the next generation of NACAS South leaders.
  • Strategic Partnership: Deepening our collaboration with our Business Partners. Their innovation, industry expertise, and unwavering support are vital to our ability to solve complex campus challenges and enhance the student experience.

Save the Date: 2027 Regional Conference

I am particularly excited about our 2027 Regional Conference in beautiful Clearwater Beach, Florida from April 25, 2027 – April 28, 2027. Our host team is already hard at work planning a program that will balance a variety of informational educational sessions with the networking and "social soul" that NACAS South is known for. It will also be a premier showcase for our Business Partners to share the latest solutions that keep our campuses moving forward. We are planning an unforgettable opportunity to share our successes, learn from our setbacks, and recharge our professional batteries.

Get Involved

This organization thrives on the energy of its volunteers. I encourage you to reach out, join a committee, or share your expertise by presenting a session. Your voice is vital to our success.

Thank you for your trust, your hard work, and your commitment to enhancing the student experience on your campuses. I look forward to working alongside you throughout the year.

With warm regards and South Pride,

Robin A. Parker
President, NACAS South 2026-2027
