Annual CX Conference
The value of involvement in NACAS Central is all about the rich experiences our members take away from participation in events. There is something to be said for the power of a handshake with a cool new colleague, an idea-generating hallway conversation with a speaker you just heard, or a hug from a familiar friend. We are dedicated to delivering these moments and making sure they are centered around topics you need to improve your daily work and enrich campus experiences at your institution.

Volunteer
One of the most important factors in the success of our region is the participation and involvement of our membership. Without it, we couldn’t function. There are endless opportunities for involvement. Committee and volunteer opportunities include: Membership, Constitution & Bylaws, Nominations, and Central CX Annual Conference & Expo.
Business Partners
NACAS is a professional trade association that supports the non-academic segment of higher education responsible for generating business through a diverse array of campus services that students need and value – such as food services, bookstores, housing, and transportation. NACAS Central is comprised of a 12-state region in the organization, including: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Membership in NACAS Central offers business partners numerous advantages to reach the higher education market, which generates more than $39 billion dollars annually from campus services. We’d love to share with you the many opportunities you have to build your brand on the many campuses located in NACAS Central!

Greetings!
It is an honor and privilege to serve as the 2025-2026 President of the NACAS Central Region. I welcome members to explore the value of NACAS in fostering professional collaboration, networking, and leadership development.
There has been considerable change as it pertains to higher education and the work that we accomplish on our college campuses. Auxiliary services enrich the quality of life for our students and enhance student success. NACAS provides a community of staff, members, and resources dedicated to supporting the wide array of auxiliary services that may be offered on our campuses.
As a NACAS member, you will have full access to the broad array of online educational offerings that provide excellent content and valuable information. You are provided with opportunities to network with other members, establish connections, and share practices that better prepare you to approach the complex and dynamic challenges occurring in our environment today. You will also have an opportunity to collaborate and establish connections with our valued business partners, who continually strive to provide solutions that enhance the delivery of auxiliary services on our campuses.
Volunteers are the foundation of our association, and regional success is dependent on their service. Through volunteer service, you can collaborate with other professionals, learn, and share your expertise to help advance the profession. I encourage those who may have been contemplating some level of involvement to reach out for more information. You will find it a rewarding experience through your engagement with other auxiliary service professionals.
The Central CX will be hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, April 7-9, 2026. This will be our second consecutive conference on a college campus, an intentional effort to integrate campus tours and educational programs. We hope you can attend.
I look forward to working with everyone in the coming year!
In Service,
David Wiseley
