The non-academic services in higher education play an increasingly prominent role on college campuses every year....
NACAS East Benefits
NACAS East proudly announces Educational Grants are now available for NACAS East members. The grants will support attendance at NACAS Conferences and CASP exam registration fees. The Board has made a commitment to fund up to eight grants per year, beginning with four registrations to the East Regional Conference taking place in Virginia Beach, VA from June 18 – 21. There will also be two registrations for the NACAS Annual Conference to be held in Indianapolis October 9 – 12 this year and two registration fees for the CASP certification exam. Click on these links to access the Educational Policy and Educational Grant Application Form. Please note the April 1 deadline for the NACAS East Conference Grant. For more information, contact Phil Allison, NACAS Year 2 Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 410-293-2378.
On the Road
NACAS East…on the Road sessions are presented by auxiliary professionals near you. That’s where the “on the Road” comes in. Our goal is to have sessions throughout the region within a two- to three-hour drive. Convenient enough to bring another person from your institution, tour the facility or operation, grab some lunch, and then participate in a discussion concerning the area of interest, you can be back on your campus easily within the course of a work day.
Would you like to show off a recent renovation? How about that new food truck you just put into service? Have a great sustainability program? We would love for you to share whatever it is with your colleagues. We are seeking NACAS East…on the Road programs for 2017/2018. We need programs throughout the region so don’t hold back.

Please contact Stephen Barr (email@example.com), director of campus services, Virginia Commonwealth University, if you would like to schedule a program for your campus or if you have any questions.
Mereese Ladson Diversity Scholarship
The Ladson Diversity Scholarship was established in 2005 in honor of the late Mereese Ladson, Controller at Brooklyn College (CUNY). Ms. Ladson was a President and long-time leader of NACAS East and a great friend to the entire association. Ms. Ladson’s professionalism, commitment to inclusiveness for all, and leadership were sources of inspiration to our members. Visit the NACAS Education Foundation website to donate to the Mereese Ladson Fund or learn more about the scholarship.
