Cheryl Crouch named winner of the Robert F. Newton Award for Distinguished Service

Charlottesville, VA (January 10, 2017) – NACAS, the largest auxiliary and ancillary services support organization serving higher education, named Cheryl Crouch, executive director of marketing, auxiliary services and programs at Indiana University, winner of The Robert F. Newton Award for Distinguished Service at the 2016 NACAS Annual Conference in Indianapolis, IN.

“To be considered for this award is a privilege and I am humbled and grateful to receive it,” Crouch said. “To be a part of this amazing organization and its membership is a reward in itself. I am lucky to be able to volunteer, work and learn from so many other talented colleagues.”

The Robert F. Newton Award for Distinguished Service is the most prestigious award recognizing an individual who has displayed extraordinary and outstanding service to NACAS and to the profession. Crouch has proven her dedication to auxiliary services through her tireless work to promote innovation and leadership, both within NACAS and on campus at Indiana University.

“I am driven by a desire to succeed and to try to do the best job I can. With each opportunity I’ve had at work and with NACAS, I’ve tried to go above and beyond what has been asked of me. This makes me challenge myself and my abilities. It makes me be more creative and helps me learn new things and opens the doors to new opportunities,” Crouch said.
