NACAS Inaugurates Ryan Greene, CASP, as President and Installs the New 2020 Board Members

Charlottesville, VA (November 20, 2019) – NACAS, the largest auxiliary and ancillary services support organization serving higher education, installed Ryan Greene, CASP, Director of Auxiliary Services, Georgia Institute of Technology; as President of the NACAS Board of Directors. Several new members were also added to the board at the C3X 2019 Annual Conference & Expo in Phoenix, Arizona.

“I am thrilled to be asked to serve as the President of NACAS, an association very near and dear to my heart. NACAS has helped me network across the auxiliary services industry in a very short time,” said Greene. “The association is hands down the best way to get to know your auxiliary peers while remaining proficient in an ever-changing higher education landscape. Needless to say, helping lead an association of this caliber is very exciting, especially considering my age and background.”

Going into 2020, Greene would like to continue the momentum from prior year’s leadership initiatives, focusing on ongoing goals such as the launch of Benchmarking (coming in Spring 2020), increased membership retention and growth, expanding partnerships with other international higher education associations, and providing the highest professional development content possible.

“Additionally, I’d like to prioritize auxiliary service’s urgent need to offer more affordable student services that focus on value, as higher education affordability is more important now than ever,” said Greene.

Finally, Greene would like to continue encouraging members from all levels and backgrounds to get involved with NACAS through their institution’s membership, regional affiliation, or national participation on committees, task forces, and boards. Greene says this will not only benefit the individual personally and professionally, but it will also add value to their institution tremendously.

“I am excited to work with Ryan in the coming year to achieve the association’s goals and his focus on affordability that enriches the quality of life for students,” said Kelsey Harmon Finn, NACAS CEO. “Through his years on the NACAS Board of Directors, Ryan has always been willing to step up and put in the work to help make our association function at the highest level for members and business partners alike. He is truly an example of a model volunteer and I am confident the association is in good hands with him as President.”
