Annual CX Conference
The value of involvement in NACAS Central is all about the rich experiences our members take away from participation in events. There is something to be said for the power of a handshake with a cool new colleague, an idea-generating hallway conversation with a speaker you just heard, or a hug from a familiar friend. We are dedicated to delivering these moments and making sure they are centered around topics you need to improve your daily work and enrich campus experiences at your institution.

Volunteer
One of the most important factors in the success of our region is the participation and involvement of our membership. Without it, we couldn’t function. There are endless opportunities for involvement. Committee and volunteer opportunities include: Membership, Constitution & Bylaws, Nominations, and Central CX Annual Conference & Expo.
Business Partners
NACAS is a professional trade association that supports the non-academic segment of higher education responsible for generating business through a diverse array of campus services that students need and value – such as food services, bookstores, housing, and transportation. NACAS Central is comprised of a 12-state region in the organization, including: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Membership in NACAS Central offers business partners numerous advantages to reach the higher education market, which generates more than $39 billion dollars annually from campus services. Message From The Central Region President
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the 2026-2027 President of the NACAS Central Region. I invite all members to discover the value of NACAS as we continue to foster professional collaboration, vibrant networking, and ongoing leadership development across our campuses.
Our landscape in higher education is constantly evolving, and the work we do on our college campuses is more important than ever. Auxiliary services play a vital role in enriching the quality of life for our students and directly contribute to student success. NACAS stands as a supportive community—bringing together dedicated staff, engaged members, and a wealth of resources designed to empower the diverse and dynamic auxiliary services offered throughout our region.
As a part of NACAS, members have full access to a wide range of online educational offerings, each providing excellent content and timely, relevant information. We also enjoy numerous opportunities to connect with one another, share best practices, and strengthen our ability to navigate the complex challenges our environment presents. Additionally, our collaboration extends to our valued business partners, who are continually innovating and offering solutions that enhance the delivery of auxiliary services on our campuses.
It’s important to acknowledge that volunteers are truly the foundation of our association. The success of our region is built on their service and commitment. Through volunteering, you can connect with peers, continue learning, and share your expertise—all while helping to advance our profession. If you’ve ever considered getting more involved, I wholeheartedly encourage you to reach out for more information. I know you’ll find your engagement with NACAS Central to be a rewarding and enriching experience.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to announce that the Central CX will be hosted by Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio—the “Queen City”—from April 18-21, 2027. This marks our third consecutive conference set on a college campus, a purposeful choice that allows us to weave campus tours and educational programs into the heart of our event. We truly hope you’ll be able to join us!
I’m eager to collaborate with everyone in the year ahead and I look forward to the connections, growth, and accomplishments we’ll share together.
In Service,
Greg Minner, M.B.A.
