Welcome to NACAS East
Welcome to the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) East Region. Our region comprises 13 states in the Northeastern U.S., six Canadian provinces, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, currently serving over 225 colleges and universities. I hope you find the information available online helpful and that you can participate in our many programs and events.
At NACAS, our mission is to support the advancement of auxiliary services on campuses, recognizing their crucial role in enhancing the overall student experience. We strive to empower our members through innovative solutions, professional development opportunities, and a vibrant network of colleagues. Our goal is to foster excellence in the management and delivery of auxiliary services, which are vital to the success and sustainability of educational institutions.
The benefits offered to NACAS members will assist you in meeting the dynamic challenges we are all facing in a rapidly evolving landscape. A few of these benefits include the NACAS Marketplace, online education, the NACAS Lounge, career center, and conferences. These content-rich benefits provide auxiliary professionals with the information needed to address the complex situations occurring at their institutions. Additionally, NACAS and NACAS East provide opportunities to collaborate with our dedicated business partners, who are creating various solutions to address the current needs on our campuses.
We offer support, connections, leadership development, and resources related to auxiliary, business, and campus services and programs. These include Food Services, Housing, Bookstores, Student Centers, Facilities, Capital Planning and Construction, Parking, Transportation, Fleet Services, Mail and Print Services, Technology, Lodging, Event Management, Conferences and Rentals, Contract Management, Trademark and Licensing, and many more.
The role we play on our campuses is significant. Auxiliary services are often the backbone of campus operations, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff have access to the amenities and services they need to thrive. From providing nutritious meals and comfortable housing to managing event spaces and transportation, our work directly impacts the day-to-day lives of everyone on campus. By fostering a sense of community and improving campus life, we contribute to the holistic development of students and the overall success of our institutions.
I encourage you to explore the NACAS and NACAS East websites and visit the NACAS East Leadership page to get to know our leadership team. Events
The value of involvement in NACAS East is all about the rich experiences our members take away from participation in events. There is something to be said for the power of a handshake with a cool new colleague, an idea-generating hallway conversation with a speaker you just heard, or a hug from a familiar friend. We are dedicated to delivering these moments, and making sure they are centered around topics you need to improve your daily work, and enrich campus experiences at your institution.
Save the Date
The 2025 NACAS East CX will take place June 22-25, 2025 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza in Boston, MA.
Volunteer Opportunities
One of the most important factors in the success of our region is the participation and involvement of our membership. Without it, we couldn’t function. There are endless opportunities for involvement. Committee and volunteer opportunities include Business Partner Committee, Professional Development Committee, Regional CX Conference and Expo, On The Road, and more!
