NACAS Announces CEO Kelsey Harmon Finn Stepping Down After Five Successful Years
(February 26, 2021 | Charlottesville, VA) — NACAS, the largest auxiliary and ancillary services support organization serving higher education, announces that CEO Kelsey Harmon Finn will be stepping down from her position after five years of dedicated service to the association and its members, effective March 19.
“In five short years, Kelsey transformed NACAS into a vibrant, innovative, and inclusive association where members derived a great sense of belonging and engagement,” said Mark Ironside, President of the NACAS Board of Directors. “She invested considerable effort in diversifying the volunteer leadership team and NACAS staff. The association grew considerably during her tenure in terms of membership, business partner engagement, and programs and services.”
The NACAS Board of Directors will form an inclusive and transparent search committee to select a new CEO that will guide the association through the remaining challenges of COVID-19 and the ongoing evolution and growth of high education auxiliaries.
“It has been an incredible honor to serve as the CEO of NACAS. Although it has been a difficult year for NACAS and higher education as a whole, I truly believe that our work as an association and industry is more valuable than ever” said Finn. “I am confident that our staff and leadership will continue to push forward with excellent programs and services that help our members support student success.”
Finn will go on to serve as the Vice President, General Manager for Learfield IMG College’s Michigan Sports Properties. Learfield IMG College is the longtime athletics multimedia rightsholder for the University of Michigan.
