Letter from the CEO
March 10, 2020
Dear NACAS Community,
The coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be a global health concern, and NACAS is closely monitoring this ongoing situation. The health and safety of NACAS members and business partners is our top priority. At this time, all of our in-person events are planned to run as scheduled. We are working in conjunction with regional leadership to make informed decisions and will communicate with the membership if any changes are made.
Recognizing that the coronavirus situation will continue to change over the coming weeks, the following sources may be helpful for you to have the most current information:
- U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
- World Health Organization (WHO)
- American College Health Association (ACHA)
We know you might be looking for answers from NACAS and fellow auxiliary services colleagues from around the world. While we do recommend first checking with the CDC and other expert sources listed above, we encourage you to make use of the NACAS Marketplace for campus resources, peer-to-peer guidance in the NACAS Lounge, or our Online Education options.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to info@nacas.org if you have any questions or concerns around the impact of the coronavirus situation on NACAS events. We are continuing to plan for all scenarios, including face-to-face instruction and online conference delivery.
We will continue to communicate with you as the coronavirus situation evolves.
Thank you,
Kelsey Harmon Finn
