Persuasion and Influence Utilizing Effective Nonverbal Communication in Every Conversation
It’s a scientific fact that a person’s body gestures give away their true intentions. Actually, over ninety percent of all face-to-face communication is nonverbal; thus, the silent messages of the body often reveal more than the spoken word in conveying true feelings and attitudes. Jan Hargrave, behavioral authority on nonverbal communication, and author of Let Me See Your Body Talk, Freeway of Love, Judge the Jury, Strictly Business Body Language, and Poker Face, helps you improve your communication skills to master the art of making a positive first impression and build stronger relationships by establishing rapport through utilizing the body language of trust, inclusion and warmth

Jan Hargrave, behavioral authority on nonverbal communication, and author of Let Me See Your Body Talk, Freeway of Love, Judge the Jury, Strictly Business Body Language, and Poker Face, helps you improve your communication skills through learning how to:
- Master the art of making a positive first impression during the initial 7 seconds of meeting someone.
- Read your counterparts’ body language and identify how your own gestures and expressions support or sabotage your bargaining position.
- Add more effective gestures, postures, and expressions to your leadership repertoire to express your ideas in a positive, professional manner.
- Build stronger relationships and quickly establish rapport through utilizing the body language of trust, inclusion and warmth.
- Channel your gender’s natural body language inclinations for improved leadership results.
- Detect the specific gestures and “micro-expressions” of deception and secretiveness.
- Identify which nonverbal signals project confidence, candor, and interest during virtual conversations and when guiding future generations of workers.

The Power of Presence: Leveraging the Art of Storytelling to Elevate a Personal Leadership Brand and Influence Stakeholding
LaDawn Townsend is Keynote Speaker & CEO of the STORI Group (formerly VOS Group), a leadership development and executive coaching firm serving leaders around the globe. Others have described LaDawn as a rare expert who is fully fluent in both the financial side of organizations, as well as the, frankly, far more complex people and culture side of organizations.
This gives LaDawn a unique vantage point from which to design solutions, and why she and her team are so effective in driving tangible results for organizations around everything that falls into the "culture" and "people" buckets. She has presented her storytelling method to leaders at NASA, the Bipartisan Group of the United States House of Congressman, Amazon, Abbott and Union Bank along with being featured in Inc Magazine, Fortune, the Raconteur Times of London & KTN News.
Key Topics Include:
- Addressing the Unspoken Objections from Senior Leadership – Leveraging the Storytelling Blueprint Matrix to identify and address the unspoken objections of an audience
- Communication That Influences Through the Power of Storytelling - Enhancing communication skills to win over stakeholders by understanding the 3 keys to capturing and retaining a senior leadership audience's attention
- Building a Next Level Leadership Brand – How leaders can leverage their resume to be viewed as a relevant and needed asset to the organization while polishing their personal leadership brand
